Welcome to our home!

Welcome to Dogwood Valley! My husband and I purchased our dream home in 2019 - a craftsman-style home on fifteen acres in the Missouri Ozarks. We loved the limestone falls, the clear, dark night skies, and the abundant wildlife. We joked that we had the perfect fortress of solitude. We had no idea that the world was about to turn on its head with the onslaught of COVID-19.

After a tough spring semester with the kids in 2020, we made the decision to leave our beloved parish school and once again educate our kids at home for the '20-'21 school year. We are fortunate beyond measure to have such a perfect place to do it.

We look forward to sharing our ideas, encouragement, and horrifyingly funny stories, and we want to hear those things from you! As in all conversations, we ask our readers (and ourselves!) to THINK before posting.
